This academic year, Student & Academic Services is working to improve the open enrollment experience for students by piloting an earlier start time to enroll in Autumn quarter classes. Starting in Autumn quarter, we will move the opening of enrollment from midnight to 9 p.m. on September 1.
Why 9 p.m.?
The move to 9 p.m. recognizes the challenges with staying up until midnight to enroll in classes and was selected with the following considerations in mind:
- After most classes end
- Outside general meal times
- After most athletic practices and student group activities are over
