How To Make a Payment
To make a payment in the system follow these simple steps.
If you are paying from China or India, please follow these instructions.
Electronic Check Payments
1. Log in:
Students: Log into Axess (Student role) > “My Finances” tab > Bill & Payment System > View & Pay My Bill. Then, click on Make a Payment.
Authorized Users: Use the Authorized User link to Axess (instructions sent by your student are required for the first log in). On the Account Summary page, click on Make a Payment.
2. Add bank Information
When first using the Student Payment System, or when adding additional bank accounts, you’ll be prompted to enter account information:
- The account owner’s First and Last name
- Bank Routing and Account numbers
- The Account Type (checking or savings)
Check the terms and policy box, and the option to store the payment method for future payments.
3. Complete the Payment
Review the information then select the Confirm button. An email confirmation will be sent to the person making the payment – either the student or authorized user.
International Payments through Flywire
Making an international payment is similar to paying by electronic check within the student payment system, follow steps 1 through 3 above.
1. Enter additional bank information
Follow the screen to enter additional bank information required for international payments.
2. View your payment
Once received, you can view your payment in Stanford’s student payment system on the Account Activity page.
