Will my transcript indicate GPA or class standing?
Your GPA can be viewed on your unofficial transcript in Axess. Stanford does not calculate class standing. Students or alumni registered within the past five years can request an unofficial transcript through Axess. Follow these steps to view your unofficial transcript.
For more information on GPA, please see the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Class Rank Policy.
I was at Stanford as a non-registered student. Can I receive a transcript?
If you attended a departmental seminar, certificate program, or conference, contact the department for any records requests. Search for the department on the Index of Stanford web sites page.
Why is pre-matriculant work on my transcript?
All undergraduate courses completed at Stanford appear on the undergraduate transcript. Those courses completed prior to matriculation can count towards the Stanford unit totals for a bachelor’s degree, and therefore, the pre-matriculation program is notated on your official transcript.
I have a hold on my record. Can I receive my transcript?
Some holds prevent transcript release. For assistance, please submit a help request.
I am a parent and need to request a transcript. Can I do this?
Parents may request transcripts for their student only if the student is under age 18. When a student turns 18, access to his or her educational records becomes legally exclusive to the student.
Translation of Transcripts
The university is unable to provide translations of transcripts, diplomas, or other records to a language other than English.
