My Authorized User Account

Students may authorize others to access their Stanford student financial account and make payments on their behalf. Such individuals are referred to as “Authorized Users”. 

Create Your Account as an Authorized User

After a student has followed these steps to add you as an authorized user to their account, you will receive an email invitation and web link to set up an account on Stanford’s student payment system. 

  1. From the invitation you receive, select the Verify Email button.
  2. Create a login for the student payment system using the same email address that received the verification email, and setting a password.

3. Select Submit to finish the setup process.

Update Your Email Address as an Authorized User

As an authorized user, you can update your email address and additional contact details by using the Edit Account menu option from the Actions dropdown menu at the top of the page.

Troubleshooting Steps for Authorized Users

As an authorized user, you can reset and request a new password from the login screen. A reset password email will be sent to your email address.

If you're still not able to log in, please ask your student to re-invite you as an authorized user in the new system. They can follow these instructions.
