Phillip Cheng comes to Stanford with extensive experience in education and student services, including roles as an academic advisor at SFSU, an adjunct lecturer at Laney College, and a high-school math and languages teacher on the Big Island (Teach for America). He has additional expertise in ed-tech, including sales and customer service at Landed and Quottly. Phillip holds Masters degrees in Asian American Studies (SFSU) and Teaching (Chaminade University); his undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida are in Engineering and Chinese.
Fun fact: Phillip enjoys learning and practicing different languages. He speaks multiple dialects of Chinese and is always looking for opportunities to improve his Japanese, Korean, French, Khmer, and music language ability!
