Alyssa joined Stanford in February of 2018 on the Student Services team in the Mechanical Engineering department. She began managing postdoctoral affairs and data reporting but soon transitioned into the department’s Degree Progress officer. She oversaw the degree progress for almost 800 graduate and undergraduate students. She greatly enjoyed getting to know each of the students as she advised them on a variety of academic issues. After a year and a half, Alyssa transitioned to the Student Services Center in order to pursue her desire to more broadly serve the Stanford student community. In addition to serving as the front face for Student Financial Services and the Registrar’s office, Alyssa is the outreach liaison for the Bechtel International Center.
Fun Fact: Alyssa loves to travel internationally and makes a point to visit to at least one new country each year. She always welcomes suggestions about where to go next!
