Trina Thompson

New to Stanford in 2019, Trina brings to her work a broad experience of roles in higher education, including teaching, academic advising, and departmental administration. Trina earned her PhD in music theory (Indiana University, 2018); she's published on Virginia Woolf’s last novel and on administrative structures that further the goals of embedded librarianship.

At the Student Services Center, Trina enjoys connecting with students and helping them navigate the interwoven academic and financial systems. She also appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with the SSC team and colleagues across campus.

Fun fact: The Bay Area has finally convinced her to love hiking--the Santa Cruz sand-hills are a recent favorite discovery.
