Tips
- Confirm Grading Requirements:
- Many department and general education requirements require classes to be taken for a letter grade. Make sure your grading basis is set up to match the requirements you’re trying to fulfill.
- Verify the Number of Units:
- Certain programs require classes to be taken for a specific number of units, especially since the unit total relates to the amount of work for the class.
- Check with your program details to make sure you’re enrolled in the proper number of units.
- Consider Course Load:
- Make sure you’re comfortable with your overall course load.
- While it may be tempting to take a class for more units, it’s important to ensure you have time to balance coursework, personal time, and extracurricular activities.
